I am extremely thankful for the opportunity to gain my clinical experience and skills with Dr. B at Ahava Counseling & Consulting. What make this experience unique is that we took a deep dive into the entire mental health the field aside from clients, diagnosing, progress notes, insurance, alternative ways to work within the field aside from individual/group/etc. I also built relationship with other clinicians by attending group supervision while also reveiving support tailored to my needs through individual meetings. Dr. B stays up to date on policies that impact licensees and kept us informed on important relevant political matters. She always made herself available when i was facing new obstacles and was very communicative. Overall, I had wonderful experience and feel well equipped entering the field as a LPC.
